Introducing CZICO – the Czech Interactional Corpus

CZICO…

• is a multimodal corpus of Czech language interactions
• has been in development since 2018
• combines recordings of spontaneous, semi-spontaneous and elicited discourse produced by Czech speakers in naturalistic settings
  In particular, CZICO includes recordings of:
  • spontaneous interactions in business meetings
  • co-operative problem solving
  • elicited narratives
• is annotated in ELAN on various levels across modalities
• contains rich metadata
• is intented to be freely accessible for the research community
• will comprise more than 70 hours of recordings
• is scheduled to be published in 2021
